The little details at a wedding - Photography from a North Wales rustic wedding day - Wedding rings and flowers
I love shooting the big events on a wedding day such as the first look of a parent to their son or daughter getting married, the ceremony emotion and the first dance of the newly weds but the little details can be overlooked. I always try to get a shot of the wedding rings on the day.
The wedding ring is an emblem of love through time, a symbol of devotion and an agreement between two parties to love and cherish one another for the rest of their days. Wedding rings are, of course, circular in shape and this in itself carries a symbolic meaning for the couple getting married.
I find that the wedding rings tend to reflect the couples nature and personality and say a little something about them. Combine this with the flowers in frame, and you can tell a lot about a new husband and wife from this image.
This particular photograph was taken at an North Wales, Anglesey farm wedding on a most rustic and shabby chic style day. Details such as this make for wonderful photography and it is a pleasure to capture these kind if images.
